Our roots
Cambridge Nutraceuticals, our parent company, was founded to make a unique lycopene supplement available to the world. Lycopene is derived from the skin of tomatoes and substantial research at the University of Cambridge showed that our patented version, LactoLycopene, is easy to absorb and scientifically effective.
We went on to create Ateronon Heart+ as our first supplement, following extensive research and multiple scientific trials.
We believe every supplement should be a powerful tool to boost your wellbeing, and scientific trials are an important way we can prove beyond a doubt that supplements are truly beneficial.
Today, we continue to develop and sponsor research into easy-to-absorb products with scientifically proven benefits, including Turmeric+, a popular joint health supplement containing a formulation that has been the focus of more scientific studies than any other bioavailable curcumin supplement.
Prime Fifty joins Cambridge Nutraceuticals
In November 2020, we were joined by Prime Fifty, a specialist supplement company tailored for those of us in our 50s and over. Dr Max Gowland, a biochemist, who established Prime Fifty nearly seven years ago, also became our Chief Scientific Officer.
Max is a regular presenter on QVC television where he demystifies the science behind supplementation.
The new ranges of nutritional supplements are specially formulated for the unique and evolving needs of the over 50s. They provide an even wider choice for customers, with two new sectors that include beauty and multivitamins.
GP Nutrition joins Cambridge Nutraceuticals
In July 2024 we acquired London-based GP Nutrition, founded by leading nutritionist and double Sunday Times bestselling author, Gabriela Peacock. Gabriela and her team will continue to formulate meticulously crafted supplements primarily for the beauty and longevity sectors.
Like all our supplements, these new additions are ‘evidence based’, backed by scientific publications, studies and reports.
Gabriela is passionate about the impact high-quality supplements have in all areas of people's lives. Her high-profile clientele includes top celebrities and members of the Royal family.

Here, we have close ties with leading institutions including the University of Cambridge and Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (Addenbrooke’s). All of our research and development is supported by experts with world-leading knowledge in natural ingredients, nutrition and health.
Under the guidance of Dr Miriam Ferrer, Head of Product Development, we've expanded our range to include more than 50 supplements covering bones and joints, energy, digestive health, heart and circulatory health, immunity, pet health and more.
