January is the time for you

Christmas is over, and it’s a shock to the system. But that doesn’t mean you have to fall victim to the January blues!

The indulgent meals, gift-giving, and get-togethers with family have been left behind, but that’s a good thing. After the social whirl of the festive season, January isn’t a time to feel down – it’s an opportunity to simplify, and get back to the fundamentals of life.

If December is all about others, this can be the month to start focusing on you.

Long-term health

Nothing is more fundamental to you than your own body, so it’s no surprise that many people make New Year’s resolutions to take up running, join a gym or start a diet in January. After eating a few too many mince pies over Christmas, many of us become self-conscious and chase after weight loss.

But that could be a mistake. Rather than taking a knee-jerk approach to self-improvement, why not concentrate on what your body needs to look and feel better over the course of a year?

Boosting body and mind

Getting more of the good stuff, every day, is key. That might mean setting achievable exercise goals, or changing what you eat to ensure you have a balanced diet, as recommended by the NHS. It could also mean taking supplements to give you a significant boost, where it really matters to you.

Perhaps a Vitamin D supplement might be a good option, as it helps maintain bones and teeth while also supporting your immune system, and our bodies are unable to produce it during a cloudy British January.

If you need more get-up-and-go for your new exercise regime, what about a Vitamin B supplement? Vitamin B plays an important role in reducing tiredness and fatigue. VITAMIN B COMPLEX+ from FutureYou contains 100% of your recommended daily allowance in a high-strength formulation.

And if you’re thinking about your heart this January – Valentine’s Day is coming, after all! – the careful fermentation process that goes into the creation of BLACK GARLIC results in 10X higher S-allylcysteine and polyphenol content. Scientists have shown that these two ingredients help maintain a healthy heart and cholesterol levels.

So, think ahead! There’s a whole year to come. How would you like to feel by the time next Christmas rolls around?
