What is Black Garlic+?
A beloved ingredient in Asian cooking for centuries, black or aged garlic (Allium savitum) is often dark and sticky, with a much milder, caramelised flavour profile than raw garlic. It’s traditionally made by aging whole garlic bulbs for several weeks in a humid environment, giving rise to an inky-black colour.
Each capsule of Black Garlic+ contains a potent 250mg of aged black garlic extract fermented from Spanish garlic. It’s flavourless and odour-free, with a higher concentration of S-allyl-cysteine and polyphenols than raw garlic.
Scientific studies have shown that, as well as being delicious, black garlic can help to maintain a healthy heart and healthy cholesterol levels. Free radicals and oxidative stress have been shown to be a risk factor for cardiovascular diseases. Due to the high antioxidant capacity of its polyphenols, including S-allyl-cysteine, and vitamin B2, Black Garlic+ can sipport health health in a natural way.
